I haven't bothered posting it/ editing it into one video since June since it's SO BAD. It's literally 15 minutes of me in the far right lane letting everyone pass me in a rental car...

Taking a rental on the Ring? Brave.

It's embarrassing... Aaron Brown who went on this trip to Germany with me posted his lap and it's essentially the same with me in the drivers seat. Maybe I'll finally post it today...

Trust me, when I was doing that lap all I was thinking about was smashing that rental that wasn't even in my name into the armco. You can see that in my face since I didn't pass not one car :P

DO IT

I mean you could've been fucked even if you didn't crash it. Rental agencies hire spotters to go to the Ring and catch people going around to fine them. Unless it was a rental specifically for the ring.

Fine haha. Everyone will laugh at me. It's probably up there in the top ten worst 'ring laps.

Did you crash? No?
You're automatically better than everyone who crashed then.

Both me and my friend (whose name the rental was under) understood these possible risks, and undertook the lap regardless. It was a once in a lifetime dream moment for both of us and we were gonna do it regardless of any fees/consequences. Luckily for us, we were both extremely cautious and there were no "ring spotters". Some photographers even posted pictures of our car doing the lap and the plate was fully visible! We got lucky I guess. Regardless, it was worth it.
